It is a dream of every one...... being self sufficient  in eatable products .It never happen in real life but why don't we try....?at least the basic needs must be satisfied by cultivating vegetables in our kitchen garden. we must realize the importance of it.While traveling I could find every body has taken extra care for making a kitchen garden .children along with their parents planting and experimenting with new type of vegetables. Nowadays Public holidays are indulged in such kind of innovative activities.They apply their own creative ideas for kitchen garden.It ensures an inexpensive,regular and handy supply of fresh vegetables which are basic to nutrition ;all the more it protect us from diseases and making us healthy.It also solve our food problems.Apart from green and leafy vegetables we can also grow several roots and tubers like potatoes,tapioca etc.... plenty of vegetables can be produced by making use of extra place and sacks.I think gardening connects us back with t

I have a wonderful collection of chilies in my garden with different color, size,  and taste. The color does not have  direct correlation to the flavour  or spice level.It successfully grown in the areas that have plenty of sun.It has great medicinal value. I always  plan to make variety of items with it ....but never it happens.....anyway today I make different and special type of a pickle with my own recipe.The main ingredient  is Jaggery.

...what a pity .. nobody was allowing him to sleep ,even he was angry with sun rays ;which disturb him.

My youngest  child is bit lazy to go to school...especially on Saturday.It is a great task ....wake him up and send him   on sixth day.I thought of taking a snap without his knowledge.....thank God ...he did not notice....for along time he was feeling drowsy .

Festival of Diwali gives me sweat memories  .Children wait for this celebrations ; because they love light and sweats.I think they concerned the festival is meant for these two things.Children observe parents are busy in preparing different kind of sweats and improving the appearance of house and courtyard.In some regions one month before they get ready for the festival.Mostly the celebration takes place five days. It is the celebration of light.........triumph of light over darkness......victory of goodness  .......purity etc.During these days most of them try to wear new cloths,women glamorize themselves with special henna.It is a time of enjoyment ...bursting crackers...visiting relatives houses....exchanging gifts...renewing relations.Children love these holidays than any other festival;even  homemakers enjoy this season due to offers and discounts.

I wonder the fearless attitude of local people of Nilgiris. When we travel up  and down  of the hilly areas ,often come across different types of wild animals.They are fond of  planet products and learned to be more Eco- friendly.Wild elephants,oxen, deer,pigs,etc come very close to the hamlets.Observing their activities ....is really interesting.During this weekend I had a visit to my friend's house there I spent long  time with them.This visit was important and memorable ,because there were more guests other than family members.A troop of monkeys were playing and making a lot of fun near the corridor ,one among them was eating papaya leaf ;by seeing this.... somebody commented  they might be eating it to prevent from fever [papaya leaves are good medicine for all kind of fever.] the little  one was crazy throwing something on the elder ones........chasing and running .....I was so happy to watch this .... enjoyed it a lot.

Nowadays,The Indian farmers are in a mode of change.Application of technology in rural farming is widespread .There is a shift from tradition to modern.Many innovative ideas and methods are experimenting in daily farming.This is due to various factors.The main reason is increasing wages.The farmers are not able to afford the daily expenses while comparing with the reward from farm.They always consider cost and benefits in order to survive.Also  there is a tendency to make interpersonal relation among each other.They share not only the new ideas but the materials too. This year sufficient rain improved the growth of cultivation as well as weeds;removing it from cultivated land is a great task.Even the small farmers say, they automatically depend on weed cutting machine;but it should be handled with much care, otherwise there is a chance to cuts off saplings along with unwanted weeds. Despite removed weeds will become good manure; they have become more organic, dream of bright future. T

         After along time ,today is a sunny day.The sky is so bright;                                                                     the rain drops on the leaves ,glazing like beautiful pearls in the sea.                                                        everybody is happy......all the creatures roaming around by making their own                 noise.....admitting the unpredictable changes which happens around us.                                                   As agreat woman , the whole world is my home land; I too feel the same ......
