ELEPHANT PUJA ....... AT THEPPAKAD ELEPHANT CAMP.

Hundreds of tourists from different parts of the countries and abroad visit the camp to witness unique elephant puja dedicated to Lord Ganesha.I think this kind of ceremony is performed only in Muthumalai elephant camp. Every evening elephants do puja to Lord Vinayaka. They usually kneel down and worship God.Visitors are allowed to watch and interact with animals ,it provides a kind of awareness.It is one of the best place for ecotourism. anyway I had a wonderful experience.
